Grand Silica
GRAND SILICA is water soluble and is the only biologically active form of Silicon .
GRAND SILICA is taken up by very low concentrations in plants but that concentrations have a very important effect on plant growth.
Composition
Orthosilicic acid 2%
Function of GRAND SILICA
GRAND SILICA is absorbed by the plants, benefiting the plant in terms of growth and resistance to disease and environmental stresses.
GRAND SILICA also has a significant impact on soil texture, water holding capacity, adsorption capacity, and soil erosion stability.
GRAND SILICA has many beneficial roles in crop performance and life. Few of them are listed below
One of the main functions of
GRAND SILICA is to improve the growth and yield of plants, especially in stress conditions.
To achieve plant tolerance in stress conditions, silicon promotes photosynthesis favorably by exposing the leaves to light without dehydration.
GRAND SILICA regulates the uptake of other minerals in plants.
GRAND SILICA increases resistance to salinity and metal toxicity.
– GRAND SILICA enhances K / Na ratio and alters ionic redistribution in both roots and leaves and thereby alleviates the salinity stress.
– GRAND SILICA will reinforce the plant tissues. The strengthened plant tissues will be more resistant to fungal and pest attacks.
GRAND SILICA regulates the enzymatic activity of the plant and thereby increases the yield and growth of the plant.
GRAND SILICA reduces lipid peroxidation and thereby reduces the oxidative stress during drought conditions.
GRAND SILICA protects the plant from extremely high or low temperatures.
GRAND SILICA reduces osmotic stress.
GRAND SILICA limits transpiration.
– GRAND SILICA strengthens the cell walls of the vascular tissues and thereby conducting more water and minerals throughout the vascular system. Strengthened vascular systems will be more important for better and even distribution of water and minerals.
– GRAND SILICA applications will result in fuller flowers and higher levels of sugar in the fruits.
– GRAND SILICA increases the production of antocyanin pigments and thereby increasing the ripening and coloring of pigments.
